**What the role is**

**What you will be working on**
- Responsibilities You will be supporting the Director and Deputy Director of the Singapore Botanic Gardens’ Education Branch in strategic planning and handling of educational activities for schools and general public. You are expected to work with partners to contribute towards promoting, planning, scheduling, developing and implementing educational programmes/events/interactive exhibits. You will also be required to help with the development of new programmes, provide content for activity sheets, interpretive signs and collaterals as well as perform administrative and operational duties at the Jacob Ballas Children’s Garden, including looking after some of the plant collections.

**What we are looking for**
- Requirements - Degree in Horticulture/ Environmental Science/ Biology/ Botany/ Life Science - Excellent writing, communication, interpersonal and organisation skills - Enjoy dealing with people (including children) and has a keen interest in plants and nature - Ability to handle logístical set-up effectively and work independently - Experience in leading collaboration and partnership with schools and institutions - A good team player, able to multitask and work under pressure - Possess a positive attitude, is versatile and resourceful - Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays - First-Aid trained with certification will be an advantage.
