Climate Impact X (CIX) is a Singapore-based global carbon exchange and marketplace that aims to scale the voluntary carbon market; through a joint venture by DBS, SGX, Standard Chartered and Temasek.

CIX offers distinct platforms and products that cater to the needs of different carbon credit buyers and sellers. The Exchange facilitates the sale of large-scale high-quality carbon credits through standardised contracts - catering primarily to MNCs and institutional investors. The Project Marketplace and Auction offer a curated selection of NCS projects that can meet corporate sustainability objectives. Each project on the Project Marketplace and Auction is supported by transparent impact, risk and pricing data.

**Community and Research Intern**

CIX is looking for a community and research intern who will be supporting our ecosystems team, as well as the CEO office in enhancing our brand and building top-of-mind recall within the fast-evolving carbon markets globally. This is your chance to be part of a small but highly effective team that is passionate about making a difference.

**Responsibilities may include (but are not limited to) supporting on**:
Part A: Community
- Organisation of virtual, physical and hybrid events
- Establishing and strengthening relationships with key media
- Research, with the opportunity to contribute to high-profile presentations
- Aid with the development and launch of community platforms

Part B: Research
- Research projects include summarizing new implications for GHG accounting frameworks, partnership and competitive offering baselines.
- Develop content for educational webinars
- Other ad-hoc projects

**We are looking for someone who**:

- Is a strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively with others and a desire to learn
- Has strong research and writing skills, with a good command of the English language
- Is creative, independent, resourceful
- Has an adventurous spirit and a positive attitude towards learning about the carbon space
- Is a fast-learner, is detail-oriented, an independent thinker and problem solver
- Has an adventurous spirit and a positive attitude towards learning about the carbon space
- Is interested in sustainability and keen to make an impact in tackling climate change
- Is ideally able to commit to full time for a minimum of 6 months
