Sales Analyst

As the Sales Analyst, you are expected to perform the following key responsibilities:
- Performance Improvement: Works with respective team on development of dashboards, identification of performance improvements, development of sales effectiveness metrics and provide proposals for sales tracking improvements.
- Sales Reporting & Business Analytics: Consolidate & validate sales reports; define, track and report sales performance metrics and trends. Convert data to insights and provide visualization and analysis of performance data.
- Forecasting: Work closely with sales teams to collect and consolidate sales forecast. Provide trend reviews and challenge assumptions. Manage & improve forecasting process and tools for sales department.
- Planning: Support the budgeting and planning process for sales and marketing functions. Ensure data integrity and perform checks and reconciliation to ensure budget submitted are in line with expectations. Provide first line of support on budgeting queries.
- System Control: Responsible for sales ordering system information update.
- Pricing Control: Obtain the necessary information for evaluation and propose offers in accordance to pricing guidelines and business strategy.
- Presentation: Condense complex or technical information into a palatable and easy-to-understand presentation for company leadership.
- Market Research: Assess market trends, pricing, cost and competitor strategies and market suppliers. Follow current trends within the industry and assigned right segments, communicate any changes which may impact and demand; adjust strategies whenever appropriate.
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior.
Job requirements:
- 2+ years of experience with Customer Relationship Management systems and forecasting and an understanding of how they relate to the forecasting process.
- 5+ years of Sales Operations, Sales Analyst, or similar experience.
- Strong data analysis and numeracy skills. Can aggregate and disaggregate complex datasets.
- Strong business acumen with a drive for profitability.
- Exposure to PowerQuery, PowerBI and Proficiency in MS Office is essential;
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team; ability to manage own tasks with little/no supervision.
- Detailed in data work entry, monitoring status and strong planning skill;
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and respond to changing needs. Keen eye for details.
