Product Illustrator

**About the role**:
We are looking for a product illustrator/motion designer to join our growing product and design team. At StashAway, design and user experience are key to our product strategy and development. You will be responsible to deliver high-quality, intuitive, and visually distinct illustrations and animation to be featured throughout our product user journeys. You will want to join us if you sweat the details, leave the ego at the door, and get things done.

**Responsibilities**
- Deliver high-craft, conceptually strong illustrations, iconography, and animation in collaboration with partners across disciplines that strengthen the product experience
- Define and refine how our brand can be used to bring clarity, humanity, and inspiration to key moments in our product experiences, through illustration and beyond
- Expand how we use our illustration style and other brand systems to strategically improve user experience
- Work towards making the interface of the StashAway app visually world-class, intuitive to understand, and aesthetically appealing

**Requirements**:
**Must-haves**
- A sound understanding of fundamental visual design disciplines (typography, composition, iconography, color, layouts, etc.)
- A portfolio of work that showcases your skillset in illustration/motion design, ability to adapt to different illustration styles, and an affinity for taking complex concepts and making them clear and relatable
- Experience thinking at a high level about how all aspects of a product (content, design, and illustration) work together, and how illustration/animations can be used to strengthen user experience
- Experience in visual taste and familiarity with both historical and current illustration trends, both in and out of the tech world
- Strong animation skills, and the desire to grow further in this skillset
- The technical know-how of Illustration and Motion Design tools like Illustrator / After Effects / Procreate and proficiency with hand skills (sketching and doing non-digital illustrations)
**Good-to-haves**
- Skill in 3D Illustrations is a bonus.
