Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop processes for optimizing database security. Manage database access.
- Performance tuning of database systems. Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors. Recommend and implement emerging database technologies.
- Create and manage database reports, visualizations, and dashboards. Create automation for repeating database tasks.
- **Hadoop**
- Handle performance tuning of Hadoop cluster, YARN jobs and Hive queries
- Monitors Hadoop cluster connectivity and security
- Responsible for maintenance of Hadoop security including SSL, Kerberos and Ranger
- Handles HDFS and file system management, maintenance, and monitoring
- Assist Data Engineering and Data Science teams with troubleshooting of performance issues and general job failure troubleshooting
- Acts of point of contact for Business and IT End users escalation

Must have the ability to develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships at all levels across IT and Business Stakeholders.
