**What is the job about?**
This role is primarily responsible for planning and order handling of spare parts within Asia Pacific & China regions, ensuring a robust and efficient after-sales supply chain supporting distribution and handling of customer orders with focus on delivering as requested from customers and sales companies in the respective regions. This role will be the team leader of the team located in Singapore and will act as the daily direct leader of the team, coordinating tasks between team members, and organizing daily and weekly follow-up meetings with key stakeholders in sales, supply chain and logistics. The team lead will be a part of a global team under the Service & Solutions organization covering planning & order execution of spare parts in five distribution centers (SSG1, GPC3, GDS, GBWD, SUS1)
**Your main responsibilities**
Manage customer service complaints and satisfaction in aftersales securing delivering of spare parts towards customers within Asia Pacific & China by being accountable for followings processes/tasks
**Order Execution (30%)**
- Collaborate closely with Sales (CSSC), Service Delivery, Global Logistics (GLOG), Service Center of Excellence (CoE) colleagues and 3PL partners in Asia Pacific & China - and globally, towards assisting customers and distribution centers with order progression and supply chain issues in SAP.
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of EDI issues.
- Responsible for performance of CIC tickets handling by ensuring cases are solved or escalated, with a high quality and ability to respond to the service request appropriately.
- Manage the inbound process and resolve issues together with shipping stakeholders and 3PL partners, follow up with internal and external suppliers.
- Manage returned stock from customers and sales companies based on group policies and work with stakeholders towards improvement of the return process.
- Conduct daily action meetings - with the 3PLs.
**Planning (20%)**
- Collaborate with (Service) Product Managers/Specialists, production, extended Global Spare Part Planning and Service CoE colleagues to manage the phase in and phase out activities, quality issues and relevant changes involving spare parts.
- Responsible for supervising the daily, weekly and monthly inventory planning processes so as to reach the right segmentation, inventory levels through balancing maximum availability and stock turnover.
- Responsible for ensuring timely purchasing for stock and customer buy-to-order materials.
- Responsible for monitoring and returning slow moving inventory to minimize obsolescence.
- Collaborate with the suppliers and other departments to resolve product availability issues/problems.
- Ensure resolution of stock discrepancies and reconciliation together with 3PL partners.
**Performance, Leadership & Continuous Improvements (50%)**
- Contribute to plant SIOE activities and improvements.
- Follow-up on key performance indicators and drive improvements - escalate to Service CoE if necessary.
- Collaborate with Team Leads in other regions to identify and implement best practices to reach alignment between the regions.
- Improve SAP housekeeping through maintaining guidelines and policies in collaboration with Global Spare Part DC Planning and Service CoE colleagues.
- Drive improvements and collaboration with CSSC, Service Delivery and GLOG.
- Participate in projects and operational initiatives towards development of the spare part supply chain globally, in collaboration with Service CoE and various other stakeholders.
- Develop team members in increasing skills within supply chain.
- Support colleagues in their day-to-day activities and training. Participate in ad hoc tasks as defined by your line manager and/or functional teams.Your background:
We imagine that you have:
- Bachelor/master’s degree in supply chain, logistics or commercial management
- 5 years’ experience in supply chain planning, order execution, customer service
- 2-5 years’ experience of working with systems like SAP or Oracle ERP/customer relationship management and business warehouse
- Experience overseeing a team and a business process within supply chain
- Experience working in a global organization
- Highly developed communication skills in English
- Knowledge of the courier/air and LTL transportation business
- Experience for/with a 3PL or warehouse partner is beneficial
