Senior Sales Manager

This role reports directly to the Head of Sales and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and will be in charge of driving the growth of new equipment sales.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop an understanding of the local authorities and their associated regulations and company registrations required in association with each of the solutions we take to market.
- Mature asset services to key end users, decision makers and influencers within Europe, Middle-East and China marine and offshore.
- Identify potential and develop those accounts within territory that have a mind-set and can add value as Key Account Service Partners.
- Develop and maintain a high level of opportunity conversion by maximising strong relationships with potential customers and decision makers / influencers.
- Influence, shape and implement the sales and marketing strategy with a particular focus on key assigned markets. Originate and close opportunities to develop new market segments, product groups and channels.
- Responsible for the development and achievement of the company sales and growth plan, including specific sales objectives and financial targets.
- Evaluate analysis findings for technical and business reports.
- Lead all business development and marketing activities to achieve sustainable profitable growth.
- To plan and prepare the annual budget and sales forecasts and execute specific plans to meet the target.
- Develop shipping network and strategy to drive new business and client development in marine industry.
- Promote and develop the company’s product and services incorporating customers feedback and requirements.
- Respond efficiently to customers’ technical or commercial queries and consistently meets customers’ expectation.
- Perform market research surveys amongst customer base to seek feedback on sales and service techniques, follow-up methods and quality of after sales service.
- Perform weekly and monthly simple sales report for review and implementation.
- Carry out any other duties as and when assigned by the Management.
**Requirements**:
- Diploma/Degree in Engineering, preferably in Marine, Mechanical, Mechatronics or Electrical field.
- Have a strong and successful sales experience of around 7 to 10 years in marine industry is a must, preferably selling capital equipment.
- A strong networker and to-the-point communicator who is managed to build and maintain a solid internal and external network.
- Ability to communicate both internally and externally at high levels.
- Result driven and persistent to drive towards company targets.
- Ability to be hands-on with all teams: sales, account management, marketing, product and development.
- Willing to travel.
- Possess own car is an added advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
