Working under, assisting for and reporting to Project Manager, or Project Manager’s assigned manager/engineer of Offshore Transportation and Installation project team
- To coordinate/attend the vessel inspection with inspector/client and compiling the observation report and preparing the close out report.
- To provide expertise in interpretation of relevant International and Project specific specification
- Able to conduct root caused analysis on any coating failure incurred.
- To be stationed at Coating yard (Kuantan, Malaysia or Batam, Indonesia) and coordinate/laisse with (Vendor and Company Site representative) during the pipe coating production.
- To be stationed at Anode Manufacturing yard (Johor, Malaysia, Singapore or Batam, Indonesia) and coordinate/ laisse with (Vendor and Company Site representative) during the Anode Manufacturing production.
- To coordinate / liaise with the vessel owner to comply with the instruction or observation report during the vessel inspection by CPY and/or MWS.
- To conduct physical vessel inspection with vessel owner, CPY and MWS for all Vessel Spread based on project specification at various location (Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Singapore).
- To create the project required document together with project management team.
- To liaise with vessel owner/client to implement the above assignment.
- To monitor the progress of Coating of pipes in coating yard in Malaysia, or Indonesia.
- To coordinate with subcontractor for load out of line pipes at the jetty near coating yard in Malaysia.
- To coordinate with subcontractor for work procedure, mobilization and demobilization of their equipment and personnel.
- To generate the procedures necessary for Offshore Transportation and Installation.
- To draft purchase request based on the information of MTO and coordinate with procurement team of office
- To check the materials procured for the project is as per purchase order on DLB or storage yard.
- To perform the work requested from the Project manager
- To assist Offshore Construction Manager on board of DLB during site installation.

Job Requirement:

- Overall Experience in offshore construction Oil & Gas as project engineer.
- Work experience onboard Derrick Crane Pipe Lay Barge (DLB) as the Project Engineer at the offshore site and good knowledge for equipment and facilities on DLB. (More than 2 projects experience)
- Sufficient knowledge for the Safety, Security, Health, and Environment based on experience in offshore construction works.
- At least 10 years’ experience and in-depth knowledge of Anticorrosion Coatings, Concrete Weight Coating, Offshore/ Onshore pipeline installation for Field Joint Coating.
- At least 10 years’ experience and in-depth knowledge of Anode manufacturing production.
- At least 5 years’ experience within large multinational taskforce team environment. Track records of offshore/ onshore pipeline installation for line pipe coating and field joint coating
- Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural, harsh environment (physically demanding, often undertaken in dirty, wet and noisy condition).
- Must be comfortable to be outstation during project execution.
- Willing to travel offshore during the project execution and installation period.
