How will YOU contribute to the Team?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Scientist to join our expanding product team. This role will be an important step in delivering insight led approach to optimal decisions around our product, pricing, media planning and audience optimisation

What you will be doing:

- Be responsible for using advanced statistical and predictive modelling and advanced quantitative methods to deliver commercial benefits to the business.
- Develop data analysis and predictive data models for assessing relevant outcomes and communicate key insights using simple, clear explanations and visualisations to stakeholders.
- Responsible for prototyping solutions, algorithms, machine learning techniques, and robust analytics to provide insights.
- Explain sophisticated data science concepts in an understandable manner.

**DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**

Do YOU have what it takes to succeed?
- 2-4 years' years of experience as a data scientist data science methods to solve real word business problems within a commercial setting.
- Experience across data mining, statistical methods and machine-learning techniques.
- Programming experience across one or more of: R, Python, Scala as well as solid SQL experience
- A degree in a highly quantitative field such as Computer Science, Engineering or Statistics.
- Some experience in working with Google Cloud Platform technology stack using serverless infrastructure and NO-SQL databases as well as working with REST API’s is desirable.
- Some understanding of machine learning techniques (regression, classification, model optimisation, deep learning) whilst not pivotal, would be regarded as highly advantageous.
- Documenting algorithms, software and system specifications.
- Ability to adapt to new problems and learn quickly.
- Outstanding communication skills. Able to coordinate with multiple stakeholder groups.
