The Embassy of the Kingdom of Belgium in Singapore is looking for an enthusiastic Policy Officer to join the Embassy on a full-time basis. The Policy Officer works in the political section of the Embassy and reports to the Ambassador/Deputy Head of mission.

**Job description**:
The Policy Officer has a full range of tasks, including but not limited to:

- Support in political and economic reporting.
- Attend diplomatic events and meetings and report back to Ambassador/Consul.
- Research work.
- Assistance with Embassy (social, cultural) events and visits.
- Managing the Embassy’s presence on the social media.

**Profile**:

- Interest in international relations and feeling for diplomatic environment in a multi-cultural context.
- Organized with flexible and pro-active attitude to variable tasks and workloads.
- Able to plan his/her work.
- Team-player who can also work in autonomy with a positive work attitude and collaborative mindset.
- Hands-on person who takes initiative and shows creativity.
- Quick learner.

**Requirements**:

- Relevant university degree (Masters).
- Very good knowledge of IT tools and social media.
- Excellent command of English language (written and oral)
- Fluency in French and/or Dutch is desirable.
- Residency/work permit in Singapore
