**Job Overview**
This role will be reporting to Chairman and CEO. You will be responsible for all aspects of financial management. To play a key role to lead, monitor and guide the Finance Team to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

**Accounting**
- Mentor and guide the team in handling full sets of accounts (AP, AR and G/L), including preparation of journal entries, balance sheets, income statements & other reporting schedules.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly/quarterly/year-end closing and financial reports to meet statutory filing requirements.
- Liaise and work with bankers, external parties, insurers, corporate secretarial/tax agents and auditors
- Ensure the database of all fixed assets are closely monitored and kept up to date.
- Assist in managing the personal finances and assets of the owners which includes all local and overseas investment properties.
- Hands-on experience in handling all accounting activities
- Assist in various ad-hoc finance projects, initiatives and other assigned tasks

**Treasury**
- Handle day-to-day treasury operations which include bank instructions, local fund transfers and payment, loan drawdown / repayment, interest payment (loan and derivatives) and intercompany funds placement.
- Prepare cash flow forecast to track all funding requirements and ensure adequate liquidity to meet on
- going operational and capital expenditure needs
- Support in the negotiation of credit facilities with banks and financial institutions covering agreement review and loan documentation.
- Evaluate and recommend funding source and financial instrument that will meet company’s treasury objectives.
- Prepare monthly management reports relating to all treasury activities (e.g. weekly cash reports, monthly cash forecast etc.)
- Assist in the arrangement of intercompany loans
- Monitor intercompany settlement/safety margin transfers and loan covenants to ensure compliance
- Responsible for bank account maintenance matters (e.g. bank opening/closing, specimen signature etc.)
- Monitor markets for foreign exchange, interest rates to manage the hedging requirements for the group

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Accountancy, ACCA or equivalent, with at least 7 years’ hands-on experience in supervising a finance team.
- Good understanding of financial markets and financial instruments; experience in executing transactions
- Hands-on experience in accounting is preferred
- Detail-oriented and able to work under tight deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- IT savvy, good in Microsoft Office and accounting software
- Possess the right positive “can do” attitude
- Knowledge of investment products and various asset classes is an added advantage.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $7,000.00 - $9,500.00 per month
