**Summary**

We are seeking an Oil Energy Derivatives Trader for hedging needs of our cross barrel physical trading business. This financial derivative trading position will be located in Singapore.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Achieving derivative execution accuracy as required by the physical book.
- Perform market analysis (quantitative, qualitative and technical) of crude oil, gasoline, naphtha, distillates, jet, propane, butane, fuel oil, in Asia and Global markets.
- Analyze the exposure to price risk of the physical and derivatives portfolio, propose and implement actions to adequate such exposure to approved limits and trading strategies;
- Negotiate derivatives instruments of crude oil, gasoline, naphtha, distillates, jet, propane, butane, fuel oil, LNG across markets both OTC (Over the Counter) and/or exchange cleared contracts;
- Identify trading opportunities related to the company’s physical portfolio, present and obtain approval for them, negotiate and execute trades up to pre-defined limits and risks parameters involving diversified third parties;
- Develop and deploy creative strategies to place hedges.
- May be given opportunity for market making business based on performance.
- Trading in compliance of all internal and external controls.
- Clearly communicate with stakeholders on onsibilities given.

**Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**:
To perform this job successfully, the requirements are listed below
- Bachelor/ Master's degree
- At least 2 years experience of trading oil and energy derivatives.
- Possess excellent analytical skills to evaluate trends in both technical and fundamental patterns within the industry.
- Ability to learn and work under fast paced environment.
- Understanding of derivative markets including crude & products, futures & options, exchange & OTC instruments.
- Ability to work well across teams and regions to achieve results.
- Understanding of risk taking and risk management
- Flexibility and availability to execute trading activities across required time zones.
- Team player and ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, able to develop and present strategies to senior management.
- Creative trade and market analytical approach.
- Deploying disciplined trading and cash management methodology.
- Familiarity with trade execution, risk management and trading/reporting systems
