Flavorist Assistant

It's an exciting time of growth for IFF, we’re inviting dedicated and passionate individual to join us as **Creative Assistant** for our Singapore Flavors division. Reporting to a Principal Flavorist, the role will provide vital support to the Flavor creation function within the Creative and Application team.

**Your Focus**
As Creative Assistant you will assist in the preparation of small experimental Flavor samples by closely following recipes developed by our team of Flavorists. You will ensure these experimental flavors are prepared for evaluation and that all final specifications are measured accordingly. The role will also require you to manage the laboratory’s inventory of flavoring raw materials, ensuring all are stored in correct locations and are within their respective shelf life so that only fresh raw materials are used in the compounding of flavors.

**Job Requirements**:
**About You**
To be successful in this role you should preferably have 1 year experience in a similar role or Flavor industry. A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering or Technology is essential.

You will need to demonstrate good sense of taste and smell through IFF internal Olfactive Smelling and Flavor assessment, apart from strong numeracy and best laboratory practice skills especially weighing accuracy. You should have good computer literacy in Microsoft Office programs.

You should be a team player with good communication skills, someone who pays high attention to details and is analytical. Disciplined with good time management capability, you should have adaptability to follow through work process.

It would be a bonus if you are passionate or have a creative mind with the ability to contribute new ideas and concepts that are practical to implement.
