**Position Summary:
**The Role:
**Learning & Development**
- Ensure that the products and services standards are maintained according to the established standards, expectations, budget, goals, policies, and procedures.
- Contribute and participate actively in the improvement and upgrading of the property.
- Ensure policies and procedures by which the highest possible degree of cleanliness, maintenance and aesthetic value is achieved.
- Participate in associate welfare programmes, community activities and professional organisation.
- Conduct regular property inspections, e.g. rooms, F&B outlets, public areas, kitchens.
- Demonstrate good knowledge about property cleanliness, sanitation and preventive maintenance.
- Be familiar with the operations of property.
- Provide leadership for environmental awareness in all aspects of property care.
- Conduct products and services audit for property care regularly.

**Service Standardization**
- Ensures active implementation and adherence to Corporate Branding and Brand Standards.
- Understands role as Brand Standards mentor and continues to develop and strive to deliver higher service standards than guest expectations.

**Projects**
- Assist the Director of Operations (DOO) in quality management focusing on good operational practices within HACCP requirements.
- Assist the DOO in listing potential hazards and conduct Hazard analysis and consider control measures by periodic monitoring of an established HACCP and to obtain independent information on the state of HACCP quality management systems assessment.
- Assist the Housekeeping Team in the development of the annual learning and development plans and budgets.

**Other Responsibilities**
- Providing advice on best practices and procedures to all associates and managers as required and proactively promoting a greater understanding of these throughout the organization.
- Keeping up to date the relevant policy, legislation and current issues relating to the hospitality sector.
- Any other duties of a comparable nature as may be required by the Director of Operations

**Talent Profile**:

- 8 years of experience in a well established Deluxe or Luxury Hotel in the same capacity.
- Diploma or Degree from a recognized hospitality / tertiary institution and/or have gained 5 years of experience in the Hotel industry on a similar capacity.
- Possess a full and comprehensive knowledge of Housekeeping, Laundry and Maintenance department.
- Possess strong knowledge and understanding of property care budget, and their maintenance system.
- Ability to act as a mentor to Property Care leaders in assisting them with their future career goals.
- Possess strong motivational and developmental skills in working with all the associates of the Hotel.
- Possess a full and comprehensive knowledge about the hygiene and sanitation system.
- Possess knowledge of recruitment process and have to be a good educator.
- High customer service focus.
- Excellent interpersonal and human relations abilities.
- High levels of flexibility and adaptability and ability.
- Strong team playing skills.
- Respond positively to changes & demonstrate flexibility.
