About the team

Risk control team is responsible for performing risk identification and assessing the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls across ByteDance global functions. The team's mission is to be a trusted advisor and add tangible value to the company through insightful and comprehensive risk management practices and proactive internal controls advisory support.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Build up and lead enterprise internal control team to participate in various company-wide initiatives, such as identifying risks, performing risk analysis and root cause analysis. Recommend and develop analysis tools and templates to drive efficiency and effectiveness in processes, approvals and policies improvement;
2. Lead the internal control team to provide research, analysis, and insights based on effectiveness, efficiency, experience and system feasibility for management reporting as needed;
3. Collaborate with global data center stakeholders and management levels to conduct root cause analysis to establish action plans to improve the control environment for the business;
4. Encourage team members to provide innovative solutions, and develop them with sharing of best practice.

**Qualifications**:
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree or above;
2. Demonstrated proficiency in analytical skills coupled with the ability to swiftly adapt within a fast-paced environment;
3. Exceptional proficiency and exemplary communication skills in English, essential for providing support to the APAC market;
4. Demonstrates strong professional ethics, a dedicated work attitude, and a keen aptitude for learning, while exhibiting high motivation and a results-oriented mindset;
5. Displays an open-minded and adaptable nature, fearlessly embraces challenges and thrives under pressure, exhibiting a genuine enthusiasm for critical thinking.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Advantageous to have 5+ years of internal controls experience and/or internal audit experience. Internet or tech multinational companies and/or consulting firms are preferred;
2. Preferably to have 2+ years of leadership experience.
