This position is likely to be vacant/open, full-time or part-time, for information only / to be determined.

**Duties**
- Teach in English or French or Chinese Mandarin the French Curriculum to two classes.
- Share the class with the other language counterpart, make lesson plans together.
- Closely monitor the children and their learning progression and report this information to the school director and to the families accurately.
- Coordinate with the classroom ASEM (Teaching Assistant) for daily programme and matters.
- Contribute to the development of a special pedagogical project across school, in line with the school project and the French curriculum.
- Supervise morning breaks and/or afternoon breaks according to the schedule.
- Attend the team meetings and complete the additional 108 service hours as per French Ministry’s recommendation, according to the schedule provided by the School.
- Participate in the school’s events outside of teaching time (i.e. end of year fair, open house and gardening days), and that may occur over the weekend.
- Liaise with children’s parents whenever requested (inc. regular parent-teacher meetings scheduled twice a year).
- Other duties as determined in consultation with the School Principal

- Demonstrate and model in carrying out his/her duties.
- Support and implement the policies of LPE.
- Contribute to the Extra-Curricular Activities programme.

**Work Time**
- Class preparation time starts at 8am.
- Classroom hours: Monday to Thursday: from 8.30am to 3.45pm (including one hour of lunch break), Friday: from 8.30am to 1.00pm
- School functions, meetings, events, and professional development days as required, both within and out of school hours

Job Requirements:

- A minimum four (4)-year recognised teaching qualification including a bachelor’s degree and teaching diploma or a Bachelor of Education
- Experience with the French school or curriculum preferable
- Experience with a holistic approach to Education
- Be flexible and a real team player
- Be open-minded and able to think outside the box
- Be proactive and dynamic
- A teaching experience in a multilingual environment;
- A practical experience of the use of communication skills through trainings / workshops or projects (drama, discussion sessions / debates )
- Any additional experience that could be an asset to the children (i.e. a sport or an artistic activity)
