The Robotics Division focuses on the research and development of advanced robotic systems and technologies across the air, land and maritime domains. These include aerodynamics, autonomy, platform control, guidance and navigation technologies.

Propulsion Systems Engineer

In this role, you will:

- Be a key member of UAV Propulsion team.
- Be involved in Research and Development projects developing unique propulsions solutions for UAV
- Perform design analysis, technology assessments of novel systems and carry out trade-off studies
- Assist in the development of the UAV propulsion system
- Perform propulsion system ground testing, integration on aircraft, and take part in flight testings
- Perform post flight test performance data analysis

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering / Mechanical Engineering
- Proficient in mechanical cad modelling software such as Solidworks
- Basic experience in Engine Simulation software such as GasTurb engine
- Basic experience in FEA analysis tool
- Basic experience in CFD tool
- Basic experience in Data Analytics tools
- Good understanding in Turbine Engine and Piston Engine fundamentals, processes, thermodynamic cycles, parts and components
- Good understanding of fluid dynamics, blade technology for compressor and turbine, combustor design for gas turbine engine
- Experience in using Gas Turbine Simulation software such as GasTurb
- Prior hands-on experience working on Turbine or Piston Engine
- Broad knowledge in mechanical, electrical and electronic system associated with Engines
- Keen interest in engineering research and development as well as testing of engineering prototypes from laboratory to field
- Good analytical skills to generate solutions and alternatives during system integration and testing
- Open to new challenges, particularly in the field of unmanned aerial vehicle
- Strong team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
