In the Area of Teaching and Learning

1. To prepare and get ready resources for Science teaching and learning

2. To assist Science teachers in the setting up of experiments, etc. for

Science lessons and/or activities and clearing of resources after each

Science lesson and/or activity.

3. To assist in the setting up of ICT and Science equipment such as

projector, iPads, dataloggers, and microscopes for Science lessons

and/or activities

4. To perform yearly inventory and stock taking of Science resources and

equipment in the 2 Science Laboratories and TinkerSpace.

5. To organise the Science resources and equipment in the 2 Science

Laboratories and TinkerSpace.

6. To maintain cleanliness and assist in ensuring safety in the 2 Science

Laboratories and TinkerSpace at all times.

7. To assist in conducting simple Science enrichment activities such as

showcasing the life cycles of some animals and creative toys during

designated recesses / Science school-based events to complement

Science learning in the classroom.

Science Projects

1. To assist in the loan and yearly inventory and stock taking of resources

in various Science Programmes e.g.TinkerSpace Programme,

Science Sparkles, E2K-Ignite Programmes, etc.

2. To assist the department in monitoring the Aquaponics System

including feeding the fishes and harvesting the produce.

3. To assist the department in the feeding and maintainance of the

Mealworm Beetles, Stick Insects Enclosure, etc.

4. Must be able to comfortably handle ‘live’ specimens e.g. mealworm

beetles

Others

To do any other duties as assigned by HOD Science.
