Commercial Manager

This role leads all commercial matters pertaining to customer contracts and orders into South East Asia region contracts routed through Bühler Singapore. You will also assure the fulfilment of Bühler’s Operational Risk Management Directive, Compliance and any other guidelines related to customer contracts and orders.

Introduction

This role leads all commercial matters pertaining to customer contracts and orders into South East Asia region contracts routed through Bühler Singapore. You will also assure the fulfilment of Bühler’s Operational Risk Management Directive, Compliance and any other guidelines related to customer contracts and orders.

Tasks
- Reporting to the CFO of SEA, you will
- ensure the commercial management of customer orders in the region
- support sales and operations teams in all commercial matters
- manage customer and supplier negotiations on commercial topics and interventions in contract disputes
- assure the fulfilment of Operational Risk Management Directive (ORM), Compliance and any other internal and external rules
- develop and review Non-Disclosure Agreements, Agency Agreements, framework contracts and other contracts in third collaboration with specialist departments and/or external lawyers
- support Fulfilment and Finance Departments in project controlling, accounts receivables, contract and claim management
- support the development of trade financing concepts in collaboration with Financial Services
- be actively involved in sales & quotation activities
- represent the company with all external/internal stakeholders

Required qualifications
- You should have
- Degree in Finance and Accounting
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in a MNC and matrix environment
- Experience with contract negotiation is a plus.
- Deep understanding of relevant contract laws, finance and commercial aspects of orders.
- Good understanding of major value drivers of customer P&L and customer’s decision process for capital goods investments
- Project management skills including effective and efficient working style
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office skills
- Strong communicator - verbal and written
- Ability to bring people together to find solutions and to mitigate risks.
- Willingness to travel
