The teams are always looking to acquire business opportunities to drive Shopee to be the No. 1 e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan. The aim of the Business Development and Partnership teams is to provide Shopee’s buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices.
- Acquire and onboard key merchants and ISVs end-to-end from pitching, commercial negotiation, onboarding, product testing and integration (with the support of other cross-functional teams), and contract execution
- Perform regular business reviews with key partners to engage deeper collaboration and grow the business
- Continuously work with partners to collect feedback to internalise with product and management teams to improve ShopeePay’s product features
- Implement measurable strategies that ladder up to department goals, and delivers on multiple objectives, including merchant coverage tracking and key volume trackers
- Identify competitors and cross-market learnings to develop best practices across the region
- Establish a rigorous test-and-learn methodology and optimise performance through recommendations based on analytical insights
- Monitor the latest trends to improve product conversion and provide recommendations on how regional or local teams can best leverage new strategies or tools

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field
- Min 5 years working experience, experience in a regional role, sales environment is a plus
- Strong interest and aptitude for sales and payment strategy
- Able to analyse data and derive key insights to formulate plans to be deployed across multiple markets
- Able to pay strong attention to detail and deliver on ongoing projects and timelines
- Able to communicate in a clear and succinct manner to various stakeholders
- Able to thrive in a dynamic environment and problem solve efficiently
- Willing to travel to local markets where needed to assist in merchant closure or key business reviews
