**About the Role**:
As a Regional Technical Manager for SEA, you will play a vital role in spearheading our technical initiatives, ensuring the effective integration and operation of our smart-locking solutions across the region. Your expertise will nurture our market presence in SEA, building strong relationships with partners and clients, and delivering unparalleled technical support and insight.
**Your Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead the technical support team in providing exceptional service to our SEA clientele.
- Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to align technical solutions with customer needs.
- Contribute to product development discussions, bringing valuable insights from the SEA market.
- Organize and conduct technical training sessions for partners and clients to ensure they are well-versed in our products.
- Oversee the implementation of technical projects, ensuring they adhere to timelines and quality standards.
- Keep abreast with industry trends and technologies, positioning iLOQ as a leader in smart-lock solutions.
**What you'll need to succeed**:
- Proven experience in a technical management role, preferably within the smart-lock or security solutions industry.
- Prior experience in providing innovative technical and engineering solutions to meet customer needs.
- Prior experience in master key planning, operation and execution in mechanical and/or mechatronic cylinders with locks and well versed with local fire test regulations, local test authorities and SCDF.
- Technical knowledge of information technology, such as API, is an advantage.
- Great interpersonal skills with proven business acumen and customer centric mindset.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and at least one Southeast Asian language.
- Forward-thinking, with an innovative approach to problem-solving and project management.
- A flexible mindset, willing to travel frequently within the SEA region to support our partners and clients.
- Driver's licence
