Actuarial Manager

We are looking for a team player within the financial reporting team with the following key responsibilities. The role will provide first hand exposure to chief actuary and senior management as well as opportunities to enhance actuarial technical knowledge and play a key role in adopting new technologies.
**Responsibilities**:
- Deliver management reporting on Embedded Value (EV) and New Business Embedded Value (NBEV) and highlight insights to management
- As the Prophet Manager, the role is responsible in ensuring Prophet model governance framework is in line with industry best practice and upholding the standards for Prophet development work
- Collaborate with Finance department to deliver business planning and forecasting key financial metrics (NBEV, Insurance Operating Results) and variance analysis
- Provide guidance and review the work of team members to ensure timely and high quality deliverables
- Participate in ad-hoc projects based on department priorities
- Ensure deliveries follows the department's best practice on risk and compliance
**Requirements**:
- Good progress in actuarial qualifications with US, UK, or Australia Actuarial Institute or newly qualified actuary
- 6 to 9 years of work experience in actuarial functions, preferably in financial reporting and Prophet modelling
- Able to communicate in simple and concise way to stakeholders
- Able to work independently and collaborate with other team members within actuarial and other departments
- Adaptable, open to a dynamic working environment and willing to explore new ways of working
- Experience in stochastic modelling will be a plus
