We are looking for Financial Reporting Specialist to join us.

**Job description**

This role reports directly to the Financial Controller and is part of Anext Bank’s Finance team. This role supports the Financial Controller in all aspects of Finance related matters, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial information to internal and external stakeholders.

Functions includes (but not limited to):
Financial Accounting, Reporting and Control
- Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to management
- Liaise with outsourced service providers on reporting matters, and managing queries from Group Finance
- Perform required month end balance sheet substantiation and reconciliations (bank and intercompany), support payment activities
- Coordinate the year-end financial statement audit, including managing external auditor queries and preparation of the year-end financial statements
- Support and ensure compliance with all finance filing requirements to relevant regulatory authorities (MAS, ACRA, IRAS)
- Provide accounting advice to business, as well as accounting treatment for new products
- Perform testing for new system implementations, work with various teams to implement new processes and controls

Regulatory Reporting
- Preparation of regulatory submissions to MAS, and monitoring of regulatory ratios on a timely and accurate basis
- Assist with MAS information requests and queries on MAS returns

Ad-hoc
- Other ad hoc requests and projects as required

**Requirement**
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting or equivalent, CPA or ACCA and equivalent
- At least 5 years banking experience, preferably in a wholesale bank or have experience auditing financial institutions
- Well versed in financial reporting standards and banking products
- Driven, independent, hands-on and result-oriented person, with ability to manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines
- Strong in process re-engineering and data management
