**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Periodically refining and implementing investment policies and procedures
- Conducting market and industry research and outreach to identify investment opportunities
- Evaluating and conducting due diligence of investment opportunities.
- Overseeing the active management of portfolio companies - including on-going monitoring of portfolio companies, preparing periodic reports covering operational, financial, and impact performance, and development and implementation of strategic initiatives (including follow-on debt and equity raises);
- Communicating investment performance and strategies to stakeholders
- Building and managing relationships with portfolio companies, stakeholders, and other partners
- Mentoring and leading a small team of portfolio managers and investment professionals
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical standards.
**Qualifications**:
- Full professional proficiency in English;
- Advanced Degree - MBA and/or masters in related field preferred
- At least 5 to 8 years of relevant experience, with a proven track record of investment experience
- Those with at least 5 years of experience in fund management will be preferred
- Good understanding of - and passion for - the field of impact investing;
- Demonstrable track record in interacting directly and independently with the founders and senior management of potential investees and other stakeholders;
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues from various cultural backgrounds; and great team player;
- Ability to act independently and exercise sound judgment;
- Strong PowerPoint skills, financial, accounting and Excel skills, experience building financial models & DCF models;
- Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment;
- Have worked or studied overseas will be an advantage
