**The Role**

We’re seeking a **QA Engineer** to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our AI-powered platform. In this role, you’ll design and execute testing strategies across multiple layers of the product — from multi-tenant data isolation to AI feature quality assurance — and collaborate closely with our engineering team to deliver a seamless, bug-free experience for thousands of users.

**What You’ll Do**:
**Core Responsibilities**
- **Multi-tenant Testing**: Design and execute comprehensive test strategies for organization-based data isolation, role-based access control (owner/admin/member), and cross-tenant security validation.
- **End-to-End Test Automation**: Expand the existing Playwright E2E test suite (currently mínimal) to cover critical user journeys, authentication flows, and multi-organization scenarios.
- **API Testing Excellence**: Validate tRPC endpoints, webhook integrations (Recall.ai, Svix), and third-party service integrations using automated and manual approaches.

**Technical Testing Areas**
- **Database & Migration Testing**: Ensure data integrity across PostgreSQL/Drizzle ORM migrations, validate schema changes, and test database connection pooling under load.
- **Background Job Validation**: Test Inngest async processing, job retries, error handling, and status tracking for AI workflows.
- **Authentication & Security**: Validate Better Auth implementation, 2FA flows, organization invitations, session management, and webhook signature verification.

**AI-Specific Quality Assurance**
- **AI Model Integration Testing**: Validate OpenAI, Cerebras, and OpenRouter integrations, test model switching, rate limiting, and cost controls.
- **Evaluation Framework Management**: Maintain and expand Braintrust evaluation tests for AI output quality, consistency, and regression detection.
- **Prompt Engineering QA**: Test prompt variations, validate AI responses against expected outcomes, and ensure consistent quality across tools.

**Development Process Integration**
- **CI/CD Pipeline Enhancement**: Strengthen GitHub Actions workflows, improve test coverage reporting, and implement automated quality gates.
- **Code Quality Assurance**: Work with Biome linting, TypeScript strict mode validation, and pre-commit hook optimization to prevent regressions.

**Collaboration & Process**
- **Bug Triage & Documentation**: Establish systematic bug reporting, reproduction steps, and severity classification for rapid cycles.
- **Test Documentation**: Create and maintain comprehensive test plans, cases, and QA processes for a fast-paced development environment.
- **Developer Collaboration**: Work closely with the engineering team to implement testable code patterns, review PRs for quality concerns, and provide early feedback.
- **User Experience Validation**: Ensure intuitive workflows for complex AI features, validate error handling and user feedback mechanisms.
