**Get On Board for a Dynamic and Purposeful Career.**

The Operational Cost Control & Analysis Architect is a mission-critical transformation leader tasked with architecting the foundational framework for a next-generation Cost Value Management Ecosystem. This role is central to redefining how the enterprise captures, simulates, analyzes, and governs cost data—establishing a single, intelligent system of record and action for all cost-related activities. It champions the full unification and integration of cost structures, harmonizing standard costs for simulation, real-time cost capture from operational systems, and financial reporting into a seamless, technology-enabled architecture. At the forefront of enterprise transformation, the Cost Control Architect plays a strategic, cross-functional role within Project SAiLORS, and serves as a specialized pillar within the Process Solutions Leadership Team. The role’s overarching mandate is to institutionalize end-to-end cost traceability, surveillance, and accountability across all core value streams. By embedding robust cost measurement and analytics protocols into every system enhancement, the Architect ensures that operational cost transparency becomes a permanent, measurable, and value-driven element of the company’s digital and organizational DNA.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Cost Structure Transformation & Integration**
- Design and implement a universal cost architecture that seamlessly links (i) Standard cost simulations for pricing strategies (ii) Pro forma P&L monthly reporting structures (iii) Actual cost capture from LMS interfaced with the General Ledger
- Develop and enforce standardised cost frameworks and activity-based costing (ABC) protocols aligned with global shipping operations.

**Cost Analytics & Automation**
- Identify meaningful, actionable cost metrics and KPIs that reflect operational efficiency and financial impact.
- Lead the automation of data collection, report generation, and exception alerting, enabling real-time insights into cost anomalies and trends.
- Build a reporting intelligence engine to generate deep-dive analytics across business units, supporting both tactical and strategic decisions.

**Cost Control Tower Development**
- Establish and operationalise a digital “Cost Control Tower”, supported by modern data and monitoring platforms.
- Integrate predictive analytics and anomaly detection tools to enhance cost surveillance accuracy.
- Define escalation protocols and ownership for cost variances and inefficiencies.

**Enterprise-Wide Protocols & Culture**
- Institute an enterprise-wide cost control and analysis protocol, embedding continuous improvement, transparency, and cost ownership across all departments.
- Champion an operational cost value management culture, focusing on value delivery rather than pure cost reduction.
- Run workshops, training, and stakeholder engagement to instill new practices and behaviors.

**Value Stream Enablement**
- Ensure that every SAiLORS system enhancement provisions for: (i) Operational cost tagging. (ii) Track-and-trace of cost flow. (iii) Value attribution at every process milestone. (iv) Act as a bridge between financial controllers, operational managers, and IT teams, ensuring alignment between strategy and implementation.

**MUST HAVE**:

- Good Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or maritime related.
- 15+ years in cost control, FP&A, or enterprise performance management roles in liner shipping industry is a must.
- Deep experience with business control or management accounting, activity-based costing, ERP systems, and financial process transformation.
- Proven track record in designing automated cost tracking processes, systems and implementing analytics solutions.

**Why Join Us**:
