Our Water business is hiring a Resident Engineer to be based at Siglap Canal Upgrading Works. This is a short-term 3-month contract (renewable). Jacobs's role is PUB Representative. Main duties: - Carry out duties and responsibilities in accordance to the Building Control Act as a Qualified Site Supervisor (RE) on record for the supervision of the works on site - The RE will have an indirect supervisory role for the RTO and work with the Superintending Officer and his representatives and be responsible for enforcing specification and code - Proactively provide periodic site progress updates to The Client PUB - Review Contractor submissions and assess progress claims with QS - Manage and work closely with RTOs, WSHOs, PRO, QS and Certified Welding Inspectors (CWI) assigned to the project - Keep and maintain proper site records and documentation **Here’s What You’ll Need**: - Degree in Engineering - Possess RE certificate from Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) - Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in site supervision of civil engineering works in pipe jacking and canal project. - Proficient in civil and structural design software and Ms Office Suite **Jacobs.
