Senior Data Architect

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure data architectures across cloud environments.
- Lead the development and optimization of data pipelines using **Databricks**and **Apache Spark**.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Define and enforce data governance, data quality, and metadata management standards.
- Evaluate and recommend new data technologies and tools to improve data infrastructure.
- Ensure data solutions are aligned with enterprise architecture and business strategy.
- Support data migration and integration efforts across systems and platforms.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related roles.
- Some banking or financial services industry experience either directly or via professional services firms.
- Strong hands-on experience with **Databricks**, **Apache Spark and Hadoop.**:

- Proficiency in at least one major **cloud platform**(Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Experience with **data modeling**, **ETL/ELT pipelines**, and **data warehousing**(e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
- Solid understanding of **SQL**, **Python**, and/or **Scala**.
- Familiarity with **data governance**, **security**, and **compliance**best practices for Singapore MAS, BCBS 239 etc.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Certifications in Databricks, Azure/AWS/GCP, or related technologies.
- Experience with real-time data processing (e.g., Kafka, Spark Streaming).
- Knowledge of machine learning workflows and MLOps practices.
