Senior Social Worker

**Responsibilities**:
He/She will carry domain expertise in specific areas of the profession. He/she works with limited supervision across all areas. He/she is expected to provide supervision to a group of professionals supporting them via clinical supervision. He/She is leading a team and able to manage and oversee the end to end development of programmes for the organisation.
**1. **Organisation**
1.1 Good understanding of the mission, goals, structure and culture of the FSC.
1.2 Able to have a conceptual understanding of FSC sector and the larger social service environment.
1.3 Able to behave in a manner that will effectively represent the organisation and collaborate with other agencies including government organisations.
**2. **Information & Referral**
2.1. Provide appropriate information and referral services to people who contact our Centre for assistance.
2.2. Support the agency’s I&R standard operating system of administration, intake, appropriate referral, outcome follow-up and closure of I&R.
2.3. Assist to network and outreach to the residents and relevant partners in our Community to identify and explore needs of our Community.
**3. **Casework & Counselling**
3.1. Maintain a reasonable caseload and provide clinical supervision to 2 social work practitioners.
3.2. Identify and assess the needs of the clients after which, plan and implement appropriate intervention plans with them.
3.3. Support the agency’s casework system including administration, intake, referral, evaluation and closure of cases.
3.4. Lead or co-lead in a specialist team to further the clinical work in the specific area within the Centre.
3.5. Co-facilitate group supervision and provide professional leadership to others on the team.
3.6. Have a good knowledge of the FSC sector.
**4. **Conduct Group Work**
4.1. Design groupwork intervention plans.
4.2. Supervise facilitation of group work interventions.
Evaluate progress and effectiveness of group work interventions within the Centre.
**5. **Perform Community Development Work**
5.1 Oversee and consult on environmental scans and community needs or strengths assessments.
5.2 Drive to implement new community outreach and community.
development initiatives by mobilising community resources, other social service providers and volunteers.
5.3 Design and develop community outreach and community development initiatives.

5.5 Evaluate progress and effectiveness of community outreach and community development initiatives in the organization.
**6. Programme Delivery**
6.1 Lead in development and planning of programmes for the centre.
6.2 Oversee the implementation of programmes of the centre.
6.3 Review the evaluation of progress and effectiveness of the programme initiatives within the centre.
**7. Resource management**
7.1 Provide sufficient feedback and guidance of leadership to KKCS8 and below.
7.2 Involved in budget of programme that he/she is leading.
**8. Research**
8.1 Assist to network to identify issues and share information from studies with external stakeholders.
8.2 Consult in design and research on practice and specified issues.
8.3 Review models of care and service delivery aligned to evidence-based practice.
Undertake any other responsibilities and duties as assigned by the Supervisor and/or Centre Director.
