Supply Chain

This position reports to the Asia Pacific (APAC) Regional Supply Chain & Logistics Quality Lead.

The Supply Chain and Logistics QO (SCL QO) Manager will have Quality Assurance oversight of the Regional Distribution Center (RDC) in Singapore and ensure that quality objectives are met for warehousing,

product reconditioning, distribution and supply chain activities.

The SCL QO Manager will assure compliance to GMP/ GDP regulations and Zoetis policy standards for Supply Chain and Logistics operations and associated processes, including importation and release, warehousing and distribution, reconditioning of products, management of external relationships with Logistics Service Providers, Transportation service providers and suppliers.

The SCL QO Manager will drive Zoetis global quality policies and procedures in order to optimize overall quality and compliance performance and to enhance Zoetis compliance, business reputation and relationships with regulatory authorities.

The SCL QO Manager will continuously seek opportunities to improve existing systems, processes and performance at the RDC and in the distribution network including local market logistics service providers

The SCL QO Manager follows up on quality incidents and trends, defines and follows up on CAPA’s in order to optimize overall Quality System performance and to minimize adverse impact on Zoetis products and processes. He/she will also define and continually update strategies and plans to achieve objectives.

The SCL QO Manager will be engaged in market supply and delivery issue management, escalating appropriate issues to APAC Regional Supply Chain & Logistics Quality lead in time to ensure necessary remedial actions.

The SCLQO Manager maintains a good working relationship with colleagues and will work closely with APAC Commercial, Regulatory, Affiliate Quality and SCL colleagues to reach common objectives.

**Regional Distribution Center management**
- Negotiate the quality agreements between the contract giver and the contract acceptor which specifies their respective responsibilities relating to wholesale distribution and/or transportation of veterinary products
- Act as Quality point of contact for the RDC for day-to-day management and escalation
- Act as point of contact for quality Zoetis audits and follow up to support contractor development and implementation of audit action plans in a timely manner, based on existing procedures and practices.
- Manage the quality requirements for release, storage, distribution and transportation to ensure Good distribution practices are implemented at RDC, including oversight of contracted 3rd party logistics service provider companies
- Manage investigations, temperature excursions, CAPAs, Complaints, recalls, returns, Metrics and other quality events/issues at RDC.
- Manage the quality requirements for local delivery and export to other markets.
- Work with the Sites, SCL, Logistics providers and applicable Affiliates responsible colleagues, to ensure that products are shipped and handled in a compliant and efficient manner
- Collaborate with Supply Chain & Logistics and the manufacturers for investigating and assessing Logistics customer complaints, i.e., shipment and/or storage temperature excursions, damaged goods, falsified products
- Perform necessary functions to maintain correct material and lot status within SAP
- Collaborate in the coordination and completion of any recall operations, following Global and local guidelines and procedures
- Manage qualification and approval of suppliers and customers
- Maintain robust Deviation management system, Change Control system, Validation, Complaint Handling system
- Ensure validated Temperature Control and Cold Chain systems are implemented and maintained
- Be involved in any decision to quarantine or dispose of returned, rejected, recalled or falsified products
- Perform routine quality audits to RDC and contract service providers
- Manage the quality aspects of reconditioning operations at RDC to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (national and for export).
- Provide Zoetis approval for Batch protocols where required
- Provide Zoetis Quality oversight of product reconditioning/ relabelling operations (approved artwork, approved RRRs/NRRs, CAPA’s, complaint management etc)
- Manage the reporting of metrics for RDC risk dashboard.

**Quality Management systems**
- Assure Good Distribution Practices are in line with Zoetis standards and local regulations
- Participate in developing SCL QO Guidelines to ensure consistency of standards across Zoetis
- Seek opportunities to improve existing systems, processes and performance
- Contribute to and is compliant with related activities such as SOP’s and Training
- Support and ensure QMS connection to Affiliates and Sites (e.g., implement and comply with the deviation/CAPA/Change control, artwork approval, relabeling, release to market processes)
