The Temasek Treasury team’s responsibilities include:

- Development of cash management strategy, liquidity management and placement of Temasek’s cash balances in line with institutional needs
- Development of FX policy, FX advisory, management of FX risk and execution of FX hedging transactions
- Development of debt issuance strategy & plan, liability management, and short and long-term debt execution
- Structuring and execution of non-recourse financing transactions to facilitate our equity investments
- Treasury policy, processes and procedures
- Partnership with and advising the business on treasury relevant areas including market insight; FX and rates and funding
- Development and cultivation of long term strategic relationships with financial counterparties and other organisations within the broader Temasek and treasury community

**Responsibilities**:
**Treasury systems and processes**
- Fine-tune and maintain key treasury management systems;
and coordinate on system upgrades
- Assist to project manage the review of operational processes across Treasury
- Assist to run said operational processes

**Treasury projects focusing on analytics and cash management**
- Assist project leads in various cash management initiatives
e.g. streamlining of bank account structures, setting up of automated cash pooling structure
- Help to build and maintain online reports (e.g. on Qlik and Tableau),
dashboard and analytics to facilitate business decisions and management reporting
- Assist team in meeting increased baseload from regulatory regimes and widening business capacities
(e.g. negotiation of counterparty agreements such as ISDA, Repo / GMRA,
Initial Margin, bank on-boarding/KYC)
- Help team coordinate and manage Treasury or cross-functional projects

**Day-to-day Cash Management**

there would be an opportunity to partner with cash team members
to engage in daily cash management work:

- As checker of daily cash management instructions
including monitoring of bank balances and management of multi-currency cash flows
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop short-term
and medium-term forecast of liquidity as well as strategic cash management
- Allocate and deploy excess liquidity across approved Money Market products
- Decide and execute funding, repatriation and collateral requirements

**Requirements**:

- Relevant Degree preferably in Accountancy, Finance, Business or Banking from a recognized university
- Strong track record, with at least 5-7 years of direct experience in Treasury,
Cash Management or Operations of financial institutions/large corporates
- Working knowledge of treasury management systems is an advantage
- Meticulous, detailed oriented and analytical with good judgement and ability to navigate complex structures and multi-task under a fast-paced and changing environment
- Good team player who can also independently engage internal/external stakeholders
effectively to solve problems
- Excellent project management skills and time management
- Very good Microsoft Office skills. Programming knowledge an advantage
