**Purpose of the role**:
As a Regional Planner you have a business critical role. Your daily passion for numbers, details and people drive you to bring supply and demand as close as possible. You like that fact that no day is the same and you see no problems but challenges.

**Position content / Key areas of accountability/responsibility**:

- Plan for replenishment to meet the sales projection so as to support the marketing team in meeting their sales budget.
- Meet the corporate inventory target set for Asia Pacific to achieve the desired working capital. We have to lead regional sales and operation meetings with market planners in the region so as to discuss the optimization of inventory holding as well as any operations issues which arise.
- Lead the Short Term Reconciliation process and Inventory Governance meetings to align sales plan and supply capability with the aim to narrow the gap between supply and demand, driving actions to achieve inventory targets.
- Be the contact point for all supply allocation related issues for Asia Pacific. This role is applicable to both stock in and non-stock items.
- Establish an inventory management process with third-party service provider(s) so as to ensure inventory accuracy, healthy inventory turnover, minimize damages, appropriate storage conditions and disposal conditions. All these are to conform to the guidelines defined by the corporate financial controller.
- Be the focal point for all Asia Pacific product supply related topics.
- Be a key member of the Supply Planning Continuous Improvement Task Force and lead individual improvement initiatives driving cost and/or efficiency savings.
- Participate in IT related work process improvements for the material management module to enhance overall efficiency of the planning process in the Asia Pacific region.
- Work with alternative sources of supply which are nominated by the corporate procurement group to ensure smooth material flow to Asia Pacific.
- Be the focal point for the APAC region, for all label-related issues; eg, printing of product labels, update SAP master data; packaging material;
- Key user for the APO (Applied Planning Optimization) system and is the key contact point for all APO-related issues.
- Key user for the batch harmonized system in terms of being the gatekeeper for all batch master data in the P45 system.
- Be focal point for Regional Distribution Center, for all import clearance activities. Carry out administrative duties to support audit requirements and ensure smooth tax rebates claims under the Major Exporter Scheme.
- Participate in logistics related improvement initiatives.
- **Projects/special assignments**
- Act as key SAP super user for MM Modules
- Participate & support global SCM project

**Educational level**:

- Bachelor or master’s degree of equivalent experience in business administration or other supply chain management related field.

**Required level of experiences**:

- Familiarity with SAP system
- Experience with SCM activities and planning methods
- Experience in import clearance process
- Familiarity with main issues relating to production, transportation and warehousing
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Power BI, Everyangle and create dashboards
- Experience in MNC manufacturer and working in fast-paced and/or diversity environment would be a plus
