Thermal Oxidizer Technician

General:
This position is responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of the TOX (Thermal Oxidizer) plant, advanced water treatment facility, incinerator, and disposal facilities (loading / unloading) to ensure the efficient, safe, and economical treatment of wastewater, disposal and within regulatory limits.

Functional competencies:
**-To possess Boiler Class 1 /Class 2 attendant is necessary**

This role is responsible for:

- Manage day to day operations of TOX facilities and maintenance of the system.
- The monitoring team shall sample and test the TOX boiler for conductivity, pH and other assigned parameters.
- Shall work with assigned qualified laboratory for test samplings for Legionella, environmental related parameters.
- Shall monitor the system setpoints, thresholds, and respond with corrective actions followed by escalation of any deviation or variation through the escalation processes.
- Daily inspection of the system, to manage PTW (permit-to-work) system, qualified risk assessor, to prepare ECC (energy change control) or LOTO (lock-out Tag-out) processes.
- Involved in IPT Tier 1 and Tier 2 meetings.
- Work on projects whenever assigned by IPT/IFM.
- Understand DI (data integrity) importance and also to involve in DI Gemba weekly.
- Responsible and participation for TOX area for both internal and external audit inspections.
- Management of TOX align with IPT for schedule plant shutdowns or project related.
- Responsible for investigating incident reports, responding to relevant HazOp studies and completion and follow-up of specific risk assessments. - Able to analyze and troubleshoot, able to draw accurate conclusions from analysis to support decision making and makes timely decisions for the operations.
- To review and adhere to SOP (standard operating procedures).

Pay: $3,600.00 - $4,700.00 per month
