Manufacturing Technogist

**What a Manufacturing Technologist does in HP**:

- Maintain the lab equipment within functionality and provide basic trouble shooting when issue arises.
- Perform Gauge R&R periodically.
- Carry out periodic maintenance, verification, and calibration of lab equipment.
- Ensure all lab equipment are duly calibrated in time of use during production operation.
- Initiate project to improve productivity, quality & safety of the QA work processes.
- Run qualification on new lab tool and new Ink product.
- Work closely with IL QC Lab counterpart
- Lead equipment reliability program to improve equipment uptime and implement Kaizen projects to improve productivity / SMART manufacturing, quality, safety and cost reduction.

**Individuals who will do well in this role usually possess**:

- Degree or Diploma in Chemical engineering or other related technical disciplines or equivalent
- Able to work 11.5 hours rotating shift.
- Commitment to perform job according to work instructions and procedures.
- Ability to work in a systematic manner and withstand occasional workload & schedule pressure.
- Possesses positive attitude, outspoken and able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Contribute and work towards achieving common goals & objectives through teamwork.
- Should be physically fit to carry heavy item from time to time.
- Willing to participate in production operation activities whenever required.
