1. Role Description

Product trainers are responsible for helping improve individual and organizational performance towards a specific product created or procured by the organization. They identify training needs, develop annual training programs, and create instructional materials. They assess the organization's strengths and weaknesses. They manage and train different individuals to improve sales and marketing for the company.

2. Specific Responsibilities

**Individual to be involved in**:
1. Learning management software and modern learning techniques.

2. Organize role-playing activities to simulate difficult client cases (e.g. how to overcome objections)

3. Maintain updated records of training curriculum and material requirements

4. Observe how salespeople and cashiers interact with clients to identify areas of improvement

3. Competencies

1. Assess training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, focus groups, or consultation with managers, instructors, or customer representatives.

2. Establish and implement strategic production planning and scheduling to meet production targets and cycle time indices

3. Negotiate contracts with clients for desired training outcomes, fees, product procurement or expenses.
