Singapore WORLD SCIENTIFIC PUBLISHING CO PTE LTD - Full time

We are looking globally for ambitious, motivated individuals to join our Editorial team.

**Responsibilities**
- Acquire new titles and academic books in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) topics.
- Responsible for full editorial process from manuscript to publication, which include liaising with authors, reviewers, preparing the necessary paperwork and contracts, liaising with typesetters, printers, and designers.
- Ensuring the commercial value of the acquired titles, analysing the time and cost of production, to maintain a steady and profitable revenue stream.
- Research and prepare statistics for market trends and prioritize publication of manuscripts that best suit the current market trends.
- Ability to copy-edit, proofread and manage manuscripts to publication, print and digital.
- Participate in the marketing and promotion activities for new books.
- Any ad hoc projects as and when required and assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Degree/Post-graduate Degree in Pure and Applied Sciences.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, analytical skills; excellent interpersonal skills at all levels.
- Must have initiative, creativity, and a keen eye for detail.
- Must be business oriented to bring in good quality and profitable books.
- Must be able to execute all duties diligently to achieve professional success and also to enhance the business of the organization.
- Prior experience in academic publishing will be given preference.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $3,200.00 - $5,000.00 per month
