We are looking for a creative, resourceful Lead Electrical Engineer to join us. The Lead Electrical Engineer is responsible for conceptual / detailed design and will have the opportunity to participate in prototyping, installation, and testing of their design. This role requires good technical writing skills to produce documentation for submission. The Electrical Engineer will work with a multi-disciplinary team and be exposed to interactions with customers, partners, vendors, and sub-contractors. Experience in maritime industry and power supply design is preferred.

- Design, implement, integrate, and test electrical systems including selection of components, power distribution, and wiring for maritime vessels (boats).
- Source and manage suppliers / OEMs for power design & implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers and stakeholders to ensure that electrical systems meet design requirements.
- Develop and maintain electrical system specifications, design documents, and other technical documentation.
- Identify, analyse, and resolve design issues and technical problems related to electrical systems.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical guidance and support to other team members.
- Ensure that electrical systems comply with industry standards and regulations, including safety standards.
- Perform hands-on fitting, assembly and installation of electrical components on site, including repair and maintenance.
**Qualities We Value**
- Knowledge in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles.
- Good technical, creativity in problem-solving skills and strong reasoning ability.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Solidworks Electrical is preferable.
- Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to mechanical engineering is an advantage
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
