Legal Counsel

Provide legal support and advice to upper management on relevant legal issues
- Performing the full spectrum of Contractual matters which includes, inter alia, drafting, vetting, amending, negotiating, advocating, contractual management (pre and post) etc
- Ensuring compliance with the internal controls, code of corporate governance, statutory regulations (including the stock-exchange) and other formalities
- Managing and advising on all risks with regards to the business, functions and decision-making processes
- Implementing procedures as well as ensuring that all confidential information (whether belonging to the Company or its Clients) are kept in strict confidence
- To manage and attend to all dispute and litigations whenever arises
- Keeping up and updating the Company with current changes on all relevant areas of laws and contributing to the enhancement of the knowledge base of the company’s legal function
- Review, standardization, maintaining templates of legal documents
- Any other adhoc duties being assigned by your Superior

**Job Requirements**:

- Degree in Law or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in Marie/Oil & Gas industry
- Familiar with company law and corporate transactions
- Meticulous and good organization skills
- Good interpersonal and communications skills
- Able to work well independently as well as in a team
- IT savvy and proficiency in Microsoft Office
