**Job summary**

Responsible for providing support to the Offshore Energy Underwriting team in Singapore

**Main duties**
- Responsible for accurate entry of information relating to inwards policies and endorsements onto Chaucer database
- Verification of Closings and liaise with brokers directly to reconcile premium, deduction, tax as appropriate and update Chaucer database.
- Maintenance of risk history involving organisation, scanning and filing (Written, Quoted, NTU, Declined and Endorsements).
- Managing tracking spreadsheet (recording of risks / endorsements, timeliness of entry, completeness of risks and pre-peer review checks).
- Pre-underwriting/post-bind policy administrations including but not limited to the following; -Slip comparisons,
- Completion of daybook and underwriter wizard entries
- Checking of Charisma entries
- Premium Calculation worksheets
- Endorsements processing
- Reconciliation work and processing of closings
- To work closely with Underwriting Assistant / Senior Underwriting Support Administrator in respect of above responsibilities and credit control matters
- Ensuring all risks has contract certainty performed and recorded.
- Troubleshoot with the Shared Services Office n Senior Underwriting Support Administrator, DXC Asia, and Finance department to ensure premium received are accurate, properly recorded and updated accordingly.
- General office administration such as assisting the team to do scanning, answering the phone and other miscellaneous tasks as required.
- Other tasks as required to assist the Underwriters
- Any task as requested by Regional Finance & Operations Director

**Education & Experience**

Essential
- 5 GCSE’s English and Maths grade ‘C’ or above
- 3 ‘A’ Level passes

Desirable
- Interest in studying for further Insurance qualifications

- Experience in the Insurance industry particularly in Energy or Marine but not mandatory
- Responsible
