We are looking for a Graduate Structural Engineer to join our growing team in Singapore.

You will assist in the delivery of projects by taking responsibility for specific areas of the design development, ensuring a good standard of engineering in accordance with Bryden Wood standards and procedures.

Good communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with all members of the team is essential to assist in the delivery of projects by contributing to specific areas under the guidance of the senior engineering team.

**Key skills/responsibilities
- Working under the guidance of Senior Engineers to produce Analysis models & Calculations
- An awareness of relevant Standards, when to refer to these and where to find them
- An awareness of Health & Safety in the construction industry
- Maintain a well-documented project, including calculation files and project correspondence following Bryden Wood standards and procedures
- Ability to understand a project’s programme
- Advance knowledge and experience through attendance at CPD seminars and other training as deemed necessary.
- Provide support for Senior Engineers in the design of projects
- To prepare specifications and contribute to reports to support Senior Engineers
- To understand drawing programmes, schedules, and design check lists
- Ensure that design work is checked and understand the importance of QA procedures
- An awareness of the company business plan and objectives
- Communication across the team where appropriate
- Knowledge of engineering forms and precedents including why they were appropriate to the specific situations
- Ability to present clear calculations to justify an engineering proposal and check calculations.

- Demonstrable success in contributing towards the projects you are involved in
- Recognition of limits of own knowledge and when to seek assistance from Senior Engineers.
