**Senior/Speech Therapist**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist in establishing evidence-based practices through the development of guidelines, protocols, and the acquisition of equipment.
- Deliver direct clinical services to a diverse group of patients, either general or specialized.
- Coordinate the rehabilitation team to optimize workforce utilization and uphold high rehabilitation standards.
- Implement improvements based on audit findings.
- Participate in equipment procurement and allocation processes.
- Manage and maintain equipment inventory.
- Support in organizing staff scheduling and coverage for caseloads.
- Lead and participate in staff meetings focused on enhancing rehabilitation service standards.
- Mentor junior team members.
- Conduct incident investigations and prepare related reports.
- Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving efficiency and workplace safety.
- Monitor and support individual staff training plans.
- Organize drills and audits to ensure staff competency.
- Coordinate departmental in-service training, projects, and individual training plans to advance rehabilitation services.
- Promote staff specialization and skills development.
- Assist in grooming successors at different levels.
- Contribute to leading research activities and projects.

**Requirements**:

- Master's degree in Speech Therapy from a recognized institution.
- Full registration with the Allied Health Professions Council.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Speech Therapist in a community setting.
- Experience in project management is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team as well as independently.
- Strong management, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
