**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist in the overall planning and execution of mechanical works, including equipment selection, layout planning, material specification, and design reviews.
- Supervise contractors, vendors, and consultants to ensure timely and quality delivery of mechanical systems, including pumps, piping, valves, compressors, and HVAC.
- Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, and mechanical calculations in accordance with PUB/NEA/BCA standards.
- Monitor site installation works, conduct inspections, and coordinate testing & commissioning (T&C) activities.
- Liaise with stakeholders, including consultants, regulatory bodies, and internal teams, to ensure design compliance and smooth site operations.
- Identify design or installation issues and provide practical, cost-effective solutions on-site.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and participate in risk assessments and HAZOPs.
- Assist the Mechanical Manager in preparing progress reports, managing schedules, and mentoring junior engineers.

**Qualifications**:

- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised institution.
- Professional registration (e.g., IES, PEB) is an advantage.
- Familiar with statutory codes: SS, ASME, API, ISO, and PUB regulations.

**Experience**:

- Minimum **6-8 years**of mechanical engineering experience, with **at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role**.
- Experience in **water treatment plant, pump stations, or PUB projects**is highly preferred.
- Exposure to EPC/Design-and-Build projects is advantageous.

**Technical Skills**:

- Knowledge of mechanical design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Plant 3D).
- Experience in equipment specification, installation supervision, and commissioning of mechanical systems.

**Soft Skills**:

- Strong leadership and team coordination capabilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and manage contractors effectively.
