Singapore Home Team Science and Technology Agency (HTX) Full time

**What the role is**
- Reporting to the Deputy Director, the jobholder will be a part of a dynamic and enterprising team to seed, curate and develop an S&T ecosystem for homeland security in Singapore. You will work closely with local and international start-ups and industry, government agencies, research institutes and institutes of higher learning (IHLs) to generate ideas and opportunities for S&T partnerships to create “the next big thing” - solutions that exponentially impact Singapore’s safety and security.

**What you will be working on**
- The job-holder will be responsible for the following: - Identify innovation opportunities and S&T collaborations by working and engaging with new and existing partners, including local & overseas industry companies, R&D institutions (such as IHLs), spin-offs and start-ups, and government agencies. - Engage in technical discussions with internal and external stakeholders to identify problem statements and technological areas to shape and push new and existing partnerships centred on innovations. - Evaluate capabilities of potential tech partners, such as deep tech companies and system integrators, across diverse industries and fields, for the development of effective S&T partnerships for innovation in the domain of public safety and security. - Perform early or 1st cut technical & use case evaluation of early-stage innovative solutions from new and existing partners or provide use cases for HTX partners to work on. - Review and monitor portfolio of innovation partnerships, paying attention to pipeline and on-going projects and activities, technological roadmaps and interest areas, and the review of existing instruments such as MOUs and Master Agreements. - Work in a multi-disciplinary team to develop the required frameworks and agreements (e.g. MOUs, MA/MRCAs, etc). - Plan and lead trips, visits, engagements and forums involving Senior Management, in advancement of S&T partnerships. These involve the planning and curating of agendas and delegations, planning and execution of administrative arrangements and details, and the development of briefs and talking points for Senior Management.

**What we are looking for**
- Job Requirements You have: - Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Sciences, Technology, Business, and/or Innovation\Tech management-related fields. - Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the science and technology fields, in the following: innovation or project management, partnerships and collaboration, business development, intellectual property management. - Experience in establishing S&T partnerships, with knowledge in partnership instruments such as MOUs and Master Agreements, and\or intellectual property. - Experience working with the public sector will be advantageous.
