**JOB SUMMARY**:
A process technician may be involved in any stages of the manufacturing process, from raw material receiving, production and finished good shipment. They follow SOPS, operate and monitor various equipment to ensure quality product is produced in a safe, timely and efficient manner.

**RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES **include the following. Other duties maybe assigned.

1. Perform material receiving, staging, material movement, sampling and charging operation per SOP.

2. Perform sampling, loading of finished goods per SOP.

3. Perform equipment line-ups, operate various equipment such as towers, reactors, pumps, fin-fans, scrubbers and boilers according to SOP.

4. Perform basic maintenance tasks of certain equipment such as replacing filters, connecting hoses, breaking flanges and cleaning of equipment.

5. Perform required isolations, flushing and Lock-out, Tag-out of equipment before handing over to other departments.

6. Perform tank gauging, drums and packaging count as part of daily inventory movement tracking and month-end inventory count.

7. Perform laboratory tests on routine and non-routine samples.

8. Monitor and control process variables via PLC and on-site instruments per SOP to ensure quality and to operate plant in a safe and efficient manner.

9. Respond to process alarms, process upsets or abnormal process conditions according to established practices or/and procedures.

10. Communicate effectively with colleagues including other units and during handing over of shift duties to incoming shift.

11. Basic troubleshooting of process problems to minimize downtime and production capacity utilizing established problem solving methods or/and procedures.

12. Complete all production data and logs (including batch sheets, inventory log, scrubber, storm water records, waste inventory and other necessary records).

13. Maintain proper housekeeping of work area.

14. Complete all required internal and external trainings.

15. Issue and close safe work permits and ensure work activities are carried out safely.

16. Participate as member of Emergency Response Team during emergencies.

17. Able to perform shift work and on-call duties to provide coverage in unforeseen circumstances.

**Work Skills**:
1. Good mathematical skills.

2. Possess basic computer skills for data entry using Microsoft Office.
