**Responsibilities**:
- **Analytics sense-making**:Understand the differing policy needs of public sector clients and write/support proposals by identifying the right analytics solution that serves their needs
- **Data analysis and modelling**: Run custom models to solve specific research questions, interpret and validate model results. Analyse individual-level data and perform statistical techniques to evaluate the effectiveness of public programmes and campaigns
- **Craft data-driven narratives and reports**:Discover and understand policy challenges and deliver compelling data stories to help public sector clients achieve policy outcomes. Support the team to ensure efficient delivery of analytics projects connecting various data sources to deliver important insights and stories.
- **End-to-end project management**: Responsible for accurate analyses, data checks, model reviews and crafts reports and presentations to ensure deliverables meet needs and generate insight and impact for public sector clients.
**Key Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s Degree / Master’s Degree, preferably in Statistics, Business Analytics or Applied Economics
- Strong knowledge of quantitative research method capabilities to lead the design of quantitative methods needed for analysis in projects (e.g. data wrangling, identifying outliers, regression diagnostics, evaluation studies, creating indices)
- Hands-on experience of statistical modelling and techniques such as clustering, regression modelling techniques, max-diff, Bayesian statistics and modelling
- A keen interest to work across different domains in analytics such as econometrics and predictive analytics
- Proficient in the use of SPSS and R in data analysis, or other similar software for data analysis (e.g. Python, Stata)
- Preferably at least 1 year of research and/or consulting experience (within government, public/third sector/academic or at a research consulting firm)
- Genuine interest in issues facing the public sector and desire to make a positive social impact
- A natural problem-solver who is self-motivated and has a passion for learning
- A collaborative team player who is also unafraid to articulate his or her points-of-view
- Organised, meticulous, deadline driven and able to multi-task
- Works well under pressure, with the patience and perseverance to see through long timelines
- Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
- Currently resides in Singapore
- Fresh graduates are welcome
