Interview Process: Interview > Skills Test & Review > Second Interview> Letter of Offer **Job Description for Trainer & Barber**: **Trainer**: - Teach by example by maintaining the highest standards - Planning, preparing and delivering lessons to trainees - Teaching according to the needs, abilities and achievements of the individual trainees and group of trainees - Adopting and working towards the implementation of the training manual - Assigning work, correcting and grading work carried out by his/her students - Assessing, recording and reporting on the development, progress, attainment and behaviour of one’s trainee - Providing or contributing to technical and any written assessments, reports and references relating to individual students or groups of students - Promoting the general progress and well-being of individual students, groups of students/classes entrusted to him/her - Communicating, consulting and cooperating with other members of the management to ensure the best interest of students - Reviewing and evaluating one’s own teaching and learning strategies, methodologies and programme/s in line with the company’s training methods - Ensuring high standards of professional practice and quality of teaching and learning of the training manual by staying up to date with industry trends - Maintaining good order and discipline amongst students under one’s care and safeguarding their health and safety at all times - Ensuring the safe custody and optimum use of equipment normally used by oneself during lessons and seeing to its regular servicing and maintenance **Barber** - Ensure adherence to the company service manual to ensure the highest quality of barbering standards for both haircuts, beard trims and shaves - Determine customers’ needs through casual conversations and recommend suitable service and merchandise, helping them to make decisions about what to purchase - Recommend merchandise based on customers’ requirements & preference - Cross-sell or up-sell products and packages as and when there is an opportunity, and provide sufficient information on various service and product features - Direct customers to counters or display shelves for merchandise they required - Uphold service standards by ensuring a high level of excellent customer service - Actively assist customers in the shop, be attentive and take the initiative to help at all times - Assist in replenishing stock and tidying shelves - Report to the Outlet IC and perform all tasks assigned by them - Maintains cleanliness, neatness and tidiness of the workstation - Keeps up with the latest barbering trends and techniques
