**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Test Strategy and Planning**:Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases based on project requirements and objectives. Collaborate with project stakeholders to define testing scope and deliverables.
- **Team Leadership**:Lead, mentor, and motivate the testing team to perform at their best. Set clear expectations, provide guidance, and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- **Test Execution**:Oversee the execution of testing activities, including functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing. Ensure testing is conducted in a systematic and thorough manner.
- **Defect Management**:Establish robust defect management processes to track and prioritize defects throughout the testing lifecycle. Work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
- **Quality Assurance Process**:Define and implement best practices for quality assurance, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Continuously enhance testing methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- **Test Automation**:Drive test automation initiatives, identifying opportunities for test automation and implementing appropriate tools and frameworks.
- **Test Reporting and Metrics**:Generate comprehensive test reports and metrics to provide insights into product quality and testing progress. Present findings to project stakeholders and management.
- **Risk Assessment**:Identify potential risks and issues related to testing and quality assurance. Develop risk mitigation strategies and communicate them to the project team.
- **Collaboration**:Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and development teams to ensure seamless collaboration throughout the software development lifecycle.
- **Continuous Improvement**:Regularly assess and refine the testing process to optimize efficiency and effectiveness. Stay updated with the latest testing trends and technologies.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Test Manager or similar role, overseeing software testing in complex projects.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, processes, and tools.
- Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, HP ALM).
- Demonstrated knowledge of test automation and related tools (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber).
- Experience leading and managing a team of testers.
- Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
