**Roles & Responsibilities**
1. Role Description:
Kitchen Staff are responsible for storing ingredients and assisting with food preparation. they should also ensure that the kitchen and storage areas remain clean at all times.
2. Specific Responsibilities:
1) To clean all dishes, work stations, cooking equipment, and food storage areas in accordance with food safety regulations.
2) To deal with washing, chopping, shredding, and grating ingredients for subsequent use by the chef. 3) To sweep and mop the floors and to assist with the unloading of deliveries. 4) To store ingredients accordingly to prescribed food safety regulations and to assist with the monitoring of inventory.
5) To pack customers' leftover food upon request and to report all damaged or faulty equipment to the kitchen manager.
3. Competencies:
1) Cleaning efficiency and food safety competencies
2) Fine Culinary Arts
3) Unloading of deliveries
4) Food safety and monitoring of inventory
5) Kitchen awareness, reporting of damaged equipment
4. Duration of Traineeships: 6 months
5. Approved Training Allowance: Fresh Graduates - $2,000, Non-mature Mid-career Individuals - $2,000, Mature Mid-Career Individuals - $2,000
6. Education Qualifications Required for the Traineeship Role Under SGUnited Traineeship:
This position is open for both recent graduates and mid-career individuals (mature and non-mature). Graduates interested in this position should possess a DIPLOMA and above Qualification. Mid-career individuals from any qualification level can apply.
