Case Worker/social Worker at Samh Group Homes

SAMH Group Homes is an independent living facility for people with mental health conditions who have a desire to be gainfully employed, develop communal living and independent living skills, as well as strengthen their ability to integrate into the community.
**The Role**
The case worker is expected to possess good knowledge of social work practices and mental health. He/She is able to communicate well, be caring and able to motivate residents towards rehabilitation for eventual independent living in the community.
**Responsibilities**
- Case Management
- Outreach Involvements
- Other administrative and support assignments
Additional information
- Work in a residential setting
- To be on 24-Hour Standby for emergency, and rotational work on weekends, if required.
**Requirements**:
- Degree in Psychology/ Social work or Counselling
- Relevant experience in case work management, preferrably in mental health sector
- Self-motivated and self-directed character, yet who can follow directives and programme guidelines.
- Adaptable with the ability to flow with changes when working with residents.
- Good skills in writing report and drafting proposals
- Good energy level and willingness to work beyond office hours, if required
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to communicate in English and at least one more local language
- Efficiency in IT
