Reporting to HSSEQ Manager, the incumbent is expected to maintain Health, Safety, Environment, Quality performance of the terminals, including but not limited to:
- Participating and abiding by all HSSEQ policy, procedures and rules to ensure that the workplace is a safe environment and services are delivered to client’s requirements.
- Implementation of effective safety management system, preventive measures as well as risk management to ensure safe working environment.
- Administration and record keeping e.g. MOC, DCN, reports, audits, inspections, licences etc.
- Maintaining HSSEQ statistics and generate monthly reports to Management and Client upon request.
- Executing required controls mandated by the management system.
- Inspecting terminal areas to ensure compliance with legislation, standards, codes of practice, guidelines, clients’ requirements and generally recognized and generally accepted good engineering practices.
- Coordinates and communicates with Client on HSEQ projects/programs/ campaigns.
- Conducting and generating reports for HSSEQ internal & external audits, client assessments, authority assessments, table-top exercises and drills. Close follow up to complete safety actions.
- Reporting and addressing of any potential hazards, near misses, mini-audits, NCs and other incidents
- Planning, Developing and Delivering of HSSEQ training for staff, visitors, contractors, hauliers and CERT Team.
- Responding to Non-conformities, Near Misses and Accidents to provide support to Operations, CERT Team and other departments. Investigates and provide recommendations to address root causes of the non-conformities, near misses and accidents. Follow up and close incident actions promptly.
- Prepare and organise Monthly HSSEQ Committee Meetings and Monthly HSSE trainings.
- Responsible for Site Security and managing Security Agency providing 24hrs site security services.
- Duties as assigned by superior.
- Cover duties upon absence of team member.
**Health, Safety, Fire Safety, Environment**
- Carry out daily inspection at site.
- Liaise with vendors, contractors to maintain emergency and fire safety equipment.
- Perform fortnightly fire alarm testing
- Assist in organising Fire Drills, CERT Audits and Quarterly HSE Campaigns
- Enhance quality capabilities for chemical third-party logistics services and packaging.
- Investigates and addresses client quality complaints.
- Liaise with vendors, contractors to maintain emergency and security equipment.
**Quality**

**Security**
- Liaise with vendors, contractors to maintain emergency and security equipment.
- Conducting of Quarterly Night Security Drill.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a logistics, manufacturing, petrochemical and/or industrial environment
- Minimum of 1 year working experience on Jurong Island. Able to work on Jurong Island
- At least 2 years experience in similar role
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong operational background and a keen eye for details
- Ability to work at height and climb cat ladders.
- Own a motorcycle or Class 3 driving license.
**Qualifications**
- Diploma in Engineering and Degree in Safety Health and Environment
- Degree in Engineering and WSQ Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health (Level C)
- Preferably registered WSHO
- Preferably registered FSM
- Other equivalent WSH qualifications would be favourably considered i.e. Level D, NEBOSH
